Artist's Statement

Laurie Szilvagyi: Vonore, Tennessee, United States; I find intrigue and beauty in anything that has age and character. I enjoy searching for these unusual objects which are often the subject-matter for my artwork. I enjoy creating free and passionate pencil drawings which stimulates my creative expression while giving me time to internalize the details needed for a good composition. This site will consist mainly of my small weekly oil paintings, however, larger paintings may be commissioned.

The price of unframed art includes UPS shipping and handling in the United States. Please allow 2-3 weeks drying time for the most recent work. All work is shipped unframed unless otherwise noted.
